It enables suppliers and buyers to share data through a secure online solution, enabling buyers to focus on monitoring and identifying potential areas of risk and undertaking in-depth supplier analysis, rather than simple data gathering. The Portal includes customisable Buyer features, for example: questionnaires, scorecards, flags, group comparisons and benchmarks.

Our client saw their ability to build and leverage strong relationships with suppliers as a key contributor to the future success of their business.
In a period of significant growth, they saw procurement risk as a key priority and, alongside a revised procurement policy, they implemented the Greenstone SupplierPortal solution.
All suppliers are required to register on SupplierPortal and complete the client’s mandatory questionnaires before they can be accepted as an approved supplier. Suppliers are grouped and scored according to the client’s criteria with flags applied to certain responses, ensuring non-compliance is detected easily. All suppliers need to complete the SupplierPortal questionnaires successfully to achieve an approved status before orders can be raised with them.
This has significantly reduced our client’s risk exposure, reduced the costs and errors associated with a manual spreadsheet based approach and created a central portal for ongoing management of supplier documents, insurance policies and contractual agreements. The client team has now re-focussed their efforts on supporting critical suppliers who have not achieved approved status and building effective partnerships with successful suppliers.
