Adam Rhodes

Head of New Business Development EMEAA

As Greenstone’s Head of New Business Development EMEAA, my role is to support new clients along their ESG reporting journey. I build close relationships with clients and work to understand their business, their ESG strategy, and how Greenstone can help them meet their goals. My background is in IT sales, and I have always found it rewarding meeting new people and understanding how we can be successful together. Today it is more important than ever to move away from old processes and old ways of working to achieve a positive social and environmental impact. It has been fantastic to join a company like Greenstone, knowing that every day I am making a small difference.

Outside of work, I have a wide range of hobbies that I’m passionate about. Fitness wise, I love lifting weights and wish I enjoyed running as much! I also love music, and try to attend as many concerts and festivals as I can. When I’m feeling particularly brave, you might even find me performing at an open mic night.

Developer

As a developer in Greenstone, I’m part of a team taking customer experience to the next level, helping clients to get the most out of their data by creating new ways for them to utilise it, and improving the ways we already do!

Since getting my master’s at Loughborough University, I’ve spent six years in another Enterprise Software company, creating solutions for Facilities, Property, and Real Estate Management solutions, with clients all over the high street. Greenstone was my chance to be a real part of something positive, and a great next step for me.

Outside of work I enjoy a chilled life, visiting local coffee shops and wilderness areas, some casual reading, and slowly attempting to make mine and my partner’s flat a home.

Sustainability Consultant

As a Sustainability Consultant at Greenstone, I work with clients to evaluate and report their environmental impact across various sectors and help them set goals for their sustainability journey moving forward. With the evolution of the sustainability space in recent years, I'm thrilled to be a part of a company that has established its way as an industry leader.

Prior to Greenstone, I've been fortunate to work as an Environmental Scientist at one of the fastest-growing companies in the US, a Sustainability Intern at the City University of NY, and a Research Assistant at US EPA. I hold an MPH in Environmental Health from Texas A&M with a certification in Ethics in Global Health from Johns Hopkins University.

Growing up in the Himalayas, I've always been drawn to nature and I'm deeply passionate about exploring the possibility of humans coming together to slow down (or even reverse) our environmental impacts. Being an environmental professional experienced in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and compliance, I aim to work towards building sustainable businesses and communities through collaboration, research, and innovation.

In my spare time, I strive to achieve a balance between trying indulgent recipes and staying fit. I love spending time outdoors, listening to music, and practicing yoga.

Accounts Assistant

Prior to Greenstone, I worked in multiple roles across different industries. From hospitality management, HR and fashion to the moment I found my passion for accounting. After my graduation with BA in Accounting and Finance, I had a great opportunity to work in hospitality and retail finance for a large international corporation but also as an accountant for movie productions, which was an exciting and interesting addition to my work experience.

I found my place at Greenstone where I can bring in my knowledge and experience but importantly continue learning and growing with and within the company. The role also gave me an amazing chance to share the same passion for sustainability with the vibrant and enthusiastic team.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog Max, socializing, travelling and reading. I also like to stay active, by actively buying several items of indoor gym equipment that I later use as 'fancy' decor in my place.`

Caroline Vibert

Business Development Consultant

I’ve been working in the technology sector for 20+ years including a long stint at the BBC as an Interactive Producer. Since I attended a Climate Reality event (Al Gore's climate change initiative) some years ago, I've been interested in the intersection between business and climate change. The challenge of how businesses reconcile the pursuit of profit and growth, or in some cases just the company's survival, with the need to operate in a sustainable and less climate-detrimental way really fascinates me.

I am fortunate to work at Greenstone, where its software and solutions enable companies to accurately track and manage their emissions as well as a whole range of additional ESG metrics. As part of the business development team, I am responsible for looking at opportunities to grow our client base, building relationships with prospective customers, ensuring that we respond to enquiries in a timely manner and communicate clearly what we can deliver across our portfolio of services.

Outside of work, I am a keen runner and cyclist. I've also been nurturing a nascent interest in kayaking, not only locally on the River Thames, but further afield in places like Jersey and the Greek Islands.

Charlene Noble

Sustainability Consultant

As a Sustainability Consultant at Greenstone, I am able to combine my interest in data analysis with my desire to help clients achieve their sustainability-related goals. I achieved a BSc in Environmental Management (with Tourism) specialising in the management of National Parks from the University of the West of England Bristol. This degree highlighted the immense impacts that climate change has had on the environment and society altogether. To further my knowledge, I went on to achieve a MSc in Environmental Management – Sustainable Development from the same university. Prior to working at Greenstone, I had the opportunity to work in the water industry for 5 years in both the Bristol and London regions, which allowed me to work with a range of clients with diverse requirements.

I developed a passion for sustainability from an early age. I was born and raised on a farm in the Mashonaland West region of Zimbabwe and was fortunate to spend my childhood surrounded by nature. Since I was a child I have felt an immense connection toward nature and have always strived to have a positive impact on our planet.

Away from my desk, you will either find me baking up a storm in the kitchen, watching the latest wildlife documentaries or listening to the latest rhythm and blues music.

Chief Technology Officer

I'm Chief Technology Officer, responsible for ensuring that we are constantly blending the latest innovations in web-enabled software with the evolving requirements of our clients and the non-financial reporting space. With quarterly releases across two solution platforms, the Dev team is kept busy, but it’s rewarding work when we see our solutions being used across the globe.

I joined Greenstone bringing 20+ years of IT experience with me. I have designed and developed software for UK military and defence companies, aerospace and even the odd nuclear power station.

When away from the screen my time is spent balancing time with the family and getting away for the odd bit of climbing, cycling or fishing.

As Head of New Business Development, North America my role is to support my relationships to shape and refine their ESG frameworks within their company.   I am pleased to be a part of a firm that is a leader in this industry, whose product constantly evolves to meet the evolving landscape of sustainability on a global basis.

I’ve worked in the financial services industry for the past twenty years, for both international banks and companies in either a sales or relationship management role focusing primarily on investment management firms with respect to their operational infrastructure, including technology solutions.   My move to Greenstone was prompted by my strong desire to work in the ESG industry in a dedicated role and thereby helping companies to make an impactful change across their organization.

Outside of work, I enjoy taking my two great danes for long walks and playing board games with my family.   I also spend time researching ways of bringing “E” into my own household and started my first compost bin this past year.  On the weekends you will find me in my garden incorporating native plants into my yard, most recently I incorporated a section dedicated to milkweed flowers that will help support the local monarch butterfly population.

Sustainability Consultant

My passion for sustainability developed from my ambition to help businesses become more environmentally friendly and responsible for their actions. My role as a sustainability consultant at Greenstone has allowed me to do just that by working with a range of companies who all look to assess and ultimately reduce their environmental impact through a number of strategies.

Previous to working at Greenstone I completed a BSc in Environmental Science with a placement year working within the sustainability team of a multimillion-pound electronics company. After university, I moved to Whistler, Canada for two years to explore more of the natural world. These experiences alongside my degree have allowed me to develop my understanding of what drives businesses to become more sustainable and the most effective ways to do so.

At Greenstone, I am able to use my technical and data management skills to support client projects and their use of our software. I thoroughly enjoy working in an expanding industry within a progressive company who are always evolving with their clients best interests at heart.

I love travelling and learning about different cultures, skiing, scuba diving and watching sport - Especially Arsenal.

Prior to joining Greenstone, I completed a BSc in Geography at the University of Bristol with an Erasmus year in Grenoble, France. In recent years, both of these cities have been recognised for their sustainability initiatives and being exposed and involved in these was a key driver in my decision to become a sustainability consultant. During my degree, I also discovered the power of data analysis as a tool to better understand current and future environmental challenges.

My role at Greenstone allows me to combine my interest in data analysis with my desire to help businesses become more sustainable. Our client base is very diverse and I really enjoy understanding the different requirements of each client and advising them on their non-financial reporting and analysis of sustainability metrics.

In my free time, you will find me walking, running, or cycling in the great outdoors. When I am not being active then I will probably be experimenting in the kitchen, often with varied success.

Prior to working at Greenstone, I achieved a MSc in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris and a MSc specialising in the sustainability field in Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate from the University of California, Berkeley.

As a sustainability consultant, I help clients achieve their sustainability-related targets. My work allows me to play a part in solving the sustainability issues that I was first exposed to at university.

I completed my BSc in Biology at Imperial College London. This degree highlighted the considerable impacts that climate change and unsustainable practices have on the environment and on society as a whole. To further my understanding of how I can help combat these problems, I decided to complete an MSc in Environmental Technology, also at Imperial College London, where I specialised in Environmental resource management. For a brief period, I worked as a data analyst, in which I was responsible for reporting on trends in the British vehicle fleet, such as the uptake of electric vehicles. My subsequent move to Greenstone was prompted by a growing desire to more directly engage with clients to solve sustainability issues.

When I’m not at work, you’re most likely to find me training at my local fencing club (I’m an épéeist), competing on the national circuit, or cooking something up in the kitchen.

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Greenstone, my role is to help companies improve their ESG reporting systems, with the ultimate goal of reducing the environmental impact of such corporations. My education and work experience in government, industry, and academia, provide me with a unique, interdisciplinary perspective. It is exciting to work for an innovative company which aligns with my interests and is an industry leader in sustainable guidance.

I joined the Board of Greenstone as a Non-Executive Director in 2022 with a focus on helping to guide the company’s growth in the United States. I come to this work after 15 years in corporate sustainability management, consulting for a wide variety of companies and developing software for managing sustainability programs in the US. Recently I authored several chapters in an ESG guidebook for corporate directors published by the American Bar Association, which enabled me to combine and use my years of experience and knowledge in sustainability with twenty-five years of practicing law. I enjoy the challenge of simplifying and explaining complex tasks and solving complex problems.

Now retired from the day-to-day of running a consulting and software start-up, I have more time to travel and enjoy my four children and their growing families. We live in the US among the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire, which provides ample opportunities to keep active with Pilates and my favorite outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and skiing. I started my working life as an industrial chemist in South Africa working in a number of manufacturing facilities in quality control and research. In 1990, with my partner, I moved to the UK and found work with ICI paints in the research laboratories, and then later into IT as a business analyst mainly in the testing and training of bespoke software packages.

A few years on, I joined CoreRatings which was a corporate responsibility rating agency providing independent investment analysis of corporate responsibility risks. I then joined URS Corporation as a corporate responsibility consultant where some of the projects I was involved in included the calculation of the clients’ carbon emissions.

By happy coincidence, my role at Greenstone includes science, IT business analysis and corporate responsibility. My responsibilities include ensuring that all specifications for the Greenstone software are accurate, that all new releases are tested and robust, whilst looking after a number of clients including Fujitsu who were our first client.

Away from Greenstone, I enjoy travelling, although the desire to visit family in South Africa rather limits the holiday left for other travel, sport (watching rather than participating), gardening and walking in the beautiful Surrey countryside.

Sustainability Consultant

As a Sustainability Consultant on the North American Client Services team, I help our clients use Greenstone products to progress their ESG goals and scale social and environmental initiatives.

My formative experiences in nature have led me to an academic and professional career in sustainability. I had the opportunity to study at NYU Gallatin where I graduated with a BA in Sustainable Business and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. At NYU, I focused on corporate sustainability, urban ecology and circular design. Prior to joining Greenstone, I was a social entrepreneur working on upcycling innovation within the coffee industry, as well as a recycling researcher at NYU’s Center for Sustainable Business. In these experiences, I found that many clients and organizations want to make a positive difference in the world but lack the guidance or tools to do so; this is why I joined Greenstone.

Growing up in Southern California, I was fortunate to spend my childhood surfing, exploring California’s coasts and mountains, and falling in love with nature photography. In my free time, I try to get outdoors as much as possible, camping and surfing on the weekends. I also love to garden and cook, take photos, and try new coffees from around the world.

At Greenstone, I sit on the client services team helping North American based clients calculate and report ESG metrics for their internal and external stakeholders. Before coming to Greenstone, I worked at another sustainability software company as an intern. I spent most of my time outlining the value and connectivity of sustainability reporting standards such as CDP, TCFD, and the SDGs to the software.

I recently graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. I was eager to rejoin the sustainability space after graduation and ecstatic to have landed at Greenstone, an established industry leader. I am fascinated by the intersection of sustainability and business and see data as a crucial mechanism for positive corporate social action.

As a new resident to New York City, in my spare time I love exploring the classic tourist sites, walking the Highline, and searching for the best pizza.

As a Junior Developer, I work closely with other developers, involved in maintaining and enhancing Greenstone's software. My position at Greenstone provides me with an opportunity to have a positive influence on the environment by taking part in projects that support the sustainability of businesses. Moreover, as a recent graduate, I can learn from others, get valuable experience and further develop my skillset.

Before that, in search of the right career path, I worked in a range of different industries, from the financial sector to the coffee industry.

I’m part of the development team here at Greenstone. It is my job to add enhancements to our systems to meet customers’ requirements, additionally, I often work closely with the customer service teams to perform maintenance tasks to keep our systems running smoothly.

I’ve been working as a software developer in various roles for over 5 years now, which suggests that I must be enjoying it on some level. My previous roles have seen me working in the property management sector as well as in pay-to-play amateur sports.

I’m really into my sport, especially football, so on a weekend you might find me at some sports ground or other watching two teams run around until one of them eventually wins.

Junior Developer

As a Junior Developer at Greenstone, my role is to develop and maintain Greenstone's ever-evolving suite of software solutions. I am thrilled to be contributing to providing solutions for the measurement and management of carbon emissions and helping organisations tackle the important challenge of climate change.

Before Greenstone, I studied Music and Theatre and then worked in a number of different roles and industries. These included finance, administration, and HR for several corporations. It wasn't until I completed a software boot camp course last year that I finally discovered my passion and my calling as a Developer. The opportunity to be creative and problem solve in a professional capacity is what I enjoy most about my role.

When not at work you'll normally find me producing music, acting, running or travelling when I can.

I enjoy the continuing education that the ever-changing landscape of sustainability brings and appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with Greenstone's diverse set of clients.

When not working, some of my favourite activities include hiking, running, playing the piano, and walking my corgi in the park. Having recently moved to NYC, I love exploring all the wonderful things the city has to offer – especially the food!

Product Analyst

Working in the product team, my job is to help ensure our product suite continues to deliver a valuable service to our customers. This involves turning customer requests or feedback into new product features and adapting the software to an ever-changing sustainability reporting landscape.

I originally studied law and changed careers a few times until I landed on sustainability, with a focus on technology solutions. Prior to joining Greenstone, I worked as a carbon and product analyst for a New Zealand based tech start-up that provides consumer-led carbon offsetting solutions. In this role, I screened offsetting projects to ensure they were high quality, helped customers with carbon calculation requirements and acted as legal counsel.

In my spare time, I’ll be trying to play tennis, squash, golf, or guitar, planning my next ski trip or happily curled up watching a movie.

Finance Director

In September 2015, I joined the board of Greenstone as Finance Director, having previously spent twenty-five years in the commodities and financial services sectors, operating across a wide spectrum of businesses in general management and financial roles.

I have been fortunate to travel extensively, previously living in Holland and Switzerland and have held a variety of roles from Managing Director of a global coffee business to more recently operating as a Finance Director of a UK retail business.

I enjoy the financial and operational challenges of working in an innovative and fast-moving business like Greenstone and think that our team of client-focused consultants really sets us apart.

Outside of work I am an avid consumer of most sports and have to suffer the pain of watching West Ham most weekends. I like to get away to our ‘bolt hole’ in Norfolk where I spend lots of time with family and walking our dog on glorious empty beaches. I also act as a charity Treasurer and Trustee for a registered branch of the Samaritans.

Sustainability Consultant

Working as a sustainability consultant in Greenstone allows me to use my data management and technical skills to help clients achieve their sustainability goals. Having the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients in different industries allows me to make a real impact in the achievement of a more sustainable future.

Before working at Greenstone, I completed a Bachelors in Economics, Leadership and Governance and MSc in Public Policy. During my master's degree, I conducted assessments on environmental, economic, and social policies. For example, I investigated the efficiency of introducing a national land value tax to increase accessibility to housing and promoting a more sustainable and efficient use of land. Before my studies, I worked in the agri-food industry as a sustainability intern where I assisted the company in the development of different strategies on GHG emissions, circular economy and plastic reduction.

I was born and raised in the Basque Country, a mountainous area surrounded by the sea. Since I was a kid, I felt a big connection towards nature as my parents encouraged me to do different outdoor activities like hiking and surfing. I also love playing the guitar and listening to rock and electronic music.
