Greenstone to join expert panel at responsible sourcing event in Dublin

clearstream.jpgGreenstone has been invited to join an expert panel at a responsible sourcing event in Dublin, Ireland on Friday 10th November. The event, on the topic of 'Responsible Sourcing: Managing Increasing Corporate Responsibility and Environmental Risk in Supply Chains' will include a conversation with Mike Simms, Chief Procurement Officer at Microsoft Corp.

At this time of increasing global trade and outsourcing, many organisations are facing unprecedented risk and growing challenges in their supply chains. A multiplicity of global regulations, political and social upheaval, transparency and visibility from social media, resource scarcity and climate change issues, are all challenging procurement and supply chain teams to develop new solutions to keep on top of these growing risks.

Clearstream Solutions, in collaboration with IBEC, The Supply Chain Advisory Council and Sustainability Skillnet, is delighted to welcome to Ireland a global leader in this space, Mike Simms. A passionate advocate of deploying procurement strategies to drive positive change, Mike will share his experience and thoughts on corporate responsibility in supply chains and how Microsoft has used various programs and certifications to minimise risk.

This discussion will be followed by an open Q&A with Mike and a panel of subject matter experts.

November 10th 2017, 9.00am - 11.00am, RDS Members' Club, Merrion Road Dublin 4.
